Sabrina Bogado is a filmmaker, graduated in Journalism, studied film at UFF and has a specialization in film (PUC-CHILE) and screenwriting (PUC-CHILE). She is the screenwriter and director of the documentary Amazônia INC - Sociedades Anônimas, which was selected for a special screening at FICA - 2017 - International Environmental Film Festival (Goiás Velho) and was awarded the World Humanitarian Awards - July/2017 for Best Documentary | Scapcine Brazilian Film Festival - December/2017. She was assistant director to the Slovak Peter Kereks on the film "Bata The First Entrepreneur In The World" for Arté FRANCE. She was the screenwriter for the documentary "Manifesto" (2017), by Paula Fabiana, which was released at the Del Nuevo Cine Americano festival (CUBA) and was shown for three consecutive weeks at the Madrid cinematheque, and has participated in several international festivals. She developed the script for the feature-length documentary "Por trás da história" (Behind the Story), selected for the FICVIÑA (Viña del Mar International Film Festival, Chile) for the Development Lab. She was the Director of the local TV program Reação Natural for three seasons, on CNT and REDE TV (2003, 2005, 2008). She wrote the script for several episodes of the Conexões Urbanas program, on Multishow and Globosat (2009). She was the screenwriter and director of the Oriente-se TV program (TVN/ 2004-2006).

Screenwriter for the animation film Vegápolis (Laboratorios Ancine). Screenplay and directing supervision of the Brazilian part of the fiction co-produced with Argentina "El hombre que no sabe histórias"; Adaptation and directing supervision of the Brazilian version of several animations: "Nahuel e o Livro Mágico" - 10 best animations at the Annecy Festival in 2020; winner of the Quirinos awards: Best sound design and original music; Best animation drawing, best animation drawing; best feature film winner at the Tokyo Festival at the Tokyo Anime Award - Winner of the competitive showcase; the animation Hugo and Serena - chosen as the best animation Ventana Sur; Sesta Z - Emmy award - Best Kids Animation, among others. As executive producer, she was responsible for several audiovisual projects in international co-production with Latin America, including: “Wishing on Stars” (co-producers: Brazil/Slovakia/Italy/Czech Republic/Austria), which participated with great success in When East Meets West, Trieste and Hot Docs Toronto. With pre-sales guaranteed for ArteFrance, Yle Finland, RSI Switerland and YES Docu Israel and interest from Cannes and Sundance. In addition to the fiction feature "Sangre", in co-production with Argentina and Spain, starring Natalia Tena (Harry Potter and Game of Thrones).

In addition to many other international co-productions. In 2022, Sabrina was chosen as a player for the third consecutive time at Rio2C and selected at the Marché du film in Cannes to participate in the "Producers Network", also for the third time. In 2021, she was a consultant for the Organization of Iber-American States (OIE) for MICBR - Creative Industries Markets of Brazil. She is currently directing the documentaries "Por trás da história" and "Samba, filhas de Santo"
